Campus traffic delays expected during triathlon Sunday
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Motorists should expect traffic delays Sunday morning as athletes participate in the Tri the Illini 2019 triathlon. The race will begin at 8 a.m. in the pool at the Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign. From there, the athletes will bicycle from the ARC and head south on First Street, eventually out to Old Church Road and High Cross Road in Urbana, and then back to the ARC. URBANA, Ill. – The University of Illinois Police Department this week published its Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, which includes statistics about crime and fire incidents and campus policies on safety-related activities. The report is available at demo.ips2.clanincreative.com/clery. Publishing the report is a requirement of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
