Springfield Ave., Champaign, at 6:46 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, to investigate a sexual assault reported earlier that morning. CHAMPAIGN, Illinois — An 18-year-old Urbana man was arrested Monday morning for his role in an Oct. 18 shooting just off campus that left another person seriously injured. Immediately following the incident near Fifth and Green streets, Champaign, UIPD officers and detectives quickly developed suspect information by obtaining eyewitness accounts and video footage provided by local citizens.
